The IRA comparison calculator allows you to compare how much you would be able
to withdraw if you had made contributions in a Traditional IRA, a
non-deductible Traditional IRA and a Roth IRA.
You can quickly visualize the impact of different variables on the three types
of IRAs, such as time left before withdrawal, the yield you may earn on the
IRAs, and your tax bracket. The graph shows the amount available for
distribution for various years to retirement. The bars at the bottom estimate
the amount you would have available at any given time to retirement.
The calculator assumes that you invest $2,000 in year one and every year
thereafter until withdrawals begin. To use the calculator:
