Amy Domini, John Bogle to Address Massachusetts Accountants

New York, NY – Amy Domini, founder and managing principal of Domini Social Investments LLC, manager of the Domini Social Equity Fund (ticker symbol: DSEFX), and John C. Bogle, founder of The Vanguard Group and the Vanguard 500 Index Fund, will address "Trends in the Mutual Funds Industry" at a gathering of The Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Inc. on Wednesday, April 25, 2001 from 8:30am - 1:00pm at the Federal Reserve Bank, 600 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts.

Mr. Bogle, one of the pioneers and leading proponents of low-cost index investing, is former Chairman of The Vanguard Group, the nation's second largest family of mutual funds. The Vanguard 500 Index Fund is the nation's largest mutual fund. Ms. Domini is the founder of Kinder, Lydenberg, Domini & Co., creator of the first socially and environmentally screened index, and of Domini Social Investments, whose Domini Social Equity Fund was the first socially and environmentally screened index fund. He will discuss the role of personal financial planning in the new investment environment, as well as trends in the mutual fund industry, the outlook for financial markets and asset allocation strategies.
